Key Stage 1

Key Stage One (Year 1 and Year 2)

Key Stage One provides a curriculum for our pupils aged between five and seven years old. All infant schools are required to teach a broad and balanced curriculum which includes ten national curriculum subjects, Religious Education (RE), and Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE).

Within RE we cover a variety of topics, religions and cultures - If you feel there are topics within RE that you would prefer your child not to learn about, you are able to talk to us about alternatives, please speak to your child's class teacher if you have any concerns.
