Morning Activities
In the classrooms between 8:40am and 9am the children take part in chosen morning activities - these include toast, cereal, bubbles, dancing, colouring, construction toys, watching short clips on our smart boards, amongst other things
It is our aim to give the children an enjoyable and calm start to the morning.
We have found that this has had a huge impact on our attendance and lateness as well as enabling the children to be ready for their learning and creating a successful start to the day.
Lunch times
All children aged 4-7 years are entitled to a free hot meal provided by the school.
We run a 3 week rolling menu - the menu for September is in your pack.
You also have the option to provide your child with a packed lunch.
Each child needs to know what they are having for lunch and let their teacher know each morning when completing the register.
Afterschool clubs
Currently we run gardening clubs for our children - these are funded by the school.
Our Sports Coach also runs afterschool clubs - these are organised through the sports coach company (SCS) and there is a charge payable to the sports company.
The places at the clubs need to be applied for each term - details of all clubs and how to apply for a space will come home at the beginning of each term.
